Serenay Sarıkaya was born in Ankara, Turkey in July 1991.
At an early age, she relocated to Antalya. Her parents divorced before she entered primary school, and her mother, Ürman, raised her as a single parent.
Serenay excelled in singing, dancing, volleyball, and tennis. While attending Saime Salih Konka high school, she represented Turkey in a beauty contest in the Czech Republic.
